Review of Hunted by Angels: A Line of Lilith Novel

Hunted by Angels: A Line of Lilith Novel By R.A. Boyd

Review By Heidi

This was a very interesting story that seems like a very fresh take on the angels theme. I was completely drawn in by the way the story started. Usually, your heroine is strong and likeable. Perry starts off as brash and snotty, but the explanation for her personality quickly draws you to her side. She is a cambion. That is a half breed in her world. She believes her mother is a succubus and her father is human. This makes her a succubus who hasn’t ever had sex. She fears it because she ends up draining her partner to the point of sleep if she tries. So she doesn’t. She is told she has to marry an incubus, the male version of herself, to control her power. But Haines is in it for a different reason. His issues come out in a way you would never think of. I loved that about this book. Nothing was predictable. Then there is Samael. He is a very bad angel who has a deluded sense of right and wrong. With Perry being very much in the dark about who she really is and what her real role in the world should be, she struggles with most everything. Luckily, she has a few angels and another demon to help her along the way. And Haines really steps up to the plate. This is a great read if you love angels and demons and want a fresh take on it all. This author does a fabulous job of taking the reader along on an incredible adventure. Looking forward to reading more from the author. I definitely recommend this book to any and all paranormal lovers.
