Reviewed by ChristineI really enjoyed reading this book. It's light, cozy, and romantic, perfect easy read full of love, romance, family, and a few surprises thrown in as well which I loved. The main characters, Nick (The new doctor in town) and Allie (the girl with a dark past, but heart of gold) come together very well, and I enjoyed having them as a couple and seeing them grow as a couple. The only part I would have changed was Allie being afraid most of the time to stand up for herself when it came to her past, I would have liked to see her grow more as a character and become stronger by the end of the book; which she did in some ways. I just would have liked to see her growth more. Overall, I loved this Authors writing style and characters. I love the details she uses to describe everything and sense of humor she has with her characters. I definitely recommend this book and want to read more from this Author in the future.
