Well, “Desire After Dark” is a love story written with a small, tight community as the basic setting to the book. There are a few couples getting married and having children as the book continues to the end of the story. Erin is the beautiful woman who is taking care of the lighthouse in the small community and has experienced huge loss in her life. A loss that effects her decisions and way of life as she gets older and more secluded in her small community. Erin is fine with her life until, Slim spends Christmas vacation as her house guest. Slim is a pilot that helps Erin to move on with her life. I think this story had some really good scenes but I wish there was more to the story. I am giving this story 3.5 stars.
