Always Another Side is an awesome title for a book about two men trying to figure out how to move on from past relationships that ended badly. Relationships that end badly usually leave someone with negative thoughts or jaded regarding “love” and then they are apprehensive for future encounters whether it be a man or woman. So, Jack and Tyler were set up to meet with friends as someone they might like in the future or not. Everyone really want them to get out into the dating world again and leave their past relationship in the past and move one.

Tyler is ready to move on but apprehensive about meeting someone new and putting trust into that person. Tyler put his heart on the line with his last relationship only find out the other person was already in a serious relationship and didn’t feel anything for Tyler. Jack was extremely apprehensive about meeting Tyler because he was in a long-term relationship where his partner cheated on him. These two characters seemed to like each other enough but seemed to be stumbling through the moments of getting to know each other.

I thought the story was sweet and romantic at times. I think there could have been a bit more to the plot and climax. The characters were developed well so, that the reader is able to get a grasp on the kind of person Jack and Tyler were and how they fit into the story. I am giving this story 3 ½ stars and hope to read something from Annabelle Jacobs in the future!
