Lions, Tigers, and bears oh my! I was just as mystified as Riley, the main character as to what was really going with the family who lived in the strange house. Since, I never read the summary to this story and chose it based on the author. I love the stories from Airicka Pheonix!
I thought the characters of this story were part of a great love story. A “love” that formed overtime despite all the obstacles in their way and how much each was different from the other. Riley found more than just a romantic relationship in the sexy Octavian! She also found a family that loved her and showed her how family sticks together through thick and thin, even when creatures of the night come to attack. Octavian found someone that was meant to be with him through the centuries to come while in the middle of some crazy and unbelievable situations.
I also found that the plot, climax, and setting were awesome. The storyline was well thought out! It was a bit long but I loved the book all the same. I will be reading the next story because I think the plot thickens and some crazy things might be happening to change the world.
I am definitely rating this book with 5 or more stars. It was fun and absolutely captivating to read.
