Trusting Jay by Simone Sowood is a perfectly blended tale of deceit, romance and second chances. We meet Abbie White in an unconventional way. Her boss is a creep that deserves a punch in the face with a hammer, but hey every story needs a guy to hate right? Her friends Jenny and Sam are hilarious. When she spots a stranger in a coffee shop and can't get him out of her mind we get introduced to Jay Mickle... only you can't help but think he has something major to hide. He stammers the name out as if he's unsure and he says things that don't add up. Is Abbie ready to move forward or will a devastating secret ruin her and Jay. Everything seems to move quickly but over a long period of time. With curveballs coming from left field you will not want to put this exciting story down. I would definitely recommend to friends looking for some excitement and a little heat thrown into their romance. 3 out of 5 stars!!
