Lets see! What can I say about this story that’s not only about young love but of personal discovery! I can say some of the actions and dialogue between the characters was hysterical!!!!! I can say the story was amazing! I can say the characters were well developed and a great part of the story! I can say that the story was believable! I can say that the author did a great job in creating a visual to suck me into the story! I can say that the author did a wonderful job in creating connections and/or relationships between the characters.
The story seemed pretty light hearted at the beginning and got deeper with each word. Em and Carter are a great match! What happens between these two characters is funny, tear-worthy, and extremely sweet all in one story!!! Yes, I did cry at some point! When I realized just how connected Em and Carter were. Of course, I would never mention why because that would reveal a huge secret!!!!
Carter is a great character. He is a great friend to his buddies. He is a great brother to his sister. He is also great boyfriend material who knew how to get under some one’s skin. He is the kind of person that refused to be ignored whether it be good or bad. He was going to have Chinese food with Em and see a movie whether she liked to or not. It is impossible not to love Carter and his huge personality!!!!!
Em is another great character. She is a kind and funny person. Em proved how protective she could be of people she cared about even she couldn’t admit to the fact. She was not only protective but tough as hell.
I think the combination of Carter and Em is awesome. I truly enjoyed this book. I think it should get 5 stars.
