Twisted Mind by Mia Hoddell is the second book in the Chequered Flag Series. But can be read as a standalone. She does not disappoint, with this second installment Tearing at your heart the same way as the first, you will not be disappointed!!
Dustin Coates is a GP2 racer hoping to make a Formula One contract his. But his on again off again relationship with Elora- the girl of his nightmares- takes a very unexpected turn and makes him forget all of that and he turns away from his best friend and brother. At one of the lowest moments he finds himself meeting his new neighbor.
Tazia Nixon has been pushed down and dragged through the mud enough to last her forever. But when her new neighbor runs into her, quite literally, she doesn't give him a second thought other than to think he's a jerk. She isn't without her secrets and hang ups when her and Dustin forge a strangely symbiotic friendship.
Dustin and Tazia fight their own inner demons throughout this story and you can't help but cheer for them and fall in love right along with them. When Dustin comes clean about everything between him and Elora you would think Tazia would open up right? But what if her secret is dark enough to break both of them? Is he better off not knowing?
What about that pesky upstairs neighbor that won't leave Tazia alone. What about the mysterious note sender? Find out just how strong a bond these two forge and find out if Dustin and Tazia can win off the track too.
