Hidden Scars is one of the best books I have read in a long time!!!!! This book was just plain awesome!!!! The characters and the story were well written. You could tell that the Author was well educated and knowledgeable to base her story on domestic abuse. Also, not every Author can switch back and forth from the past to the present and keep the reader intrigued at the same time. I loved how Nix and Emma's relationship grew stronger despite how insane Ryan (Emma's ex) got. Emma had a great family and amazing friends who were there to catch her when needed. I was definitely teary eyes trhough most of the book but, I definitely cried when Emma's dad shared how proud of her he was. Let's not forget how Nix got Emma back into painting again!!! Wow!!!! Is all I can say. It took some time but Emma found herself again against some really bad circumstances. This story should get no less than a 5++++++. Continue writing Ms. Myers and I will continue reading. Til next time! :)
