I was given this book for an honest review.

It was hard to get into this book at first. I felt like the writing was kind of choppy. As the book progressed it got better and better. I love paranormal type reads so I was already intrigued by this book. Hope Irving puts a very unique spin on this fairytale love story. I also like the whole ancient times flash backs it has with Deirdre and Morgann. I thought at first that this was going to be overdone and confusing but she does it in a way that keeps you wanting more. Then there is the whole depression state that Rose goes through. It’s very real and I think people regardless if they suffer from depression or not can relate to this character. For a debut novel I think Hope did very well. I know as this series progresses Hope will become better and better. I give this book a 3.5
