The cover is amazing and absolutely represents the story behind the picture. Politics, war, turf, beauty, love, chaos, old money, new money, and family are some of the words that come to mind when I think of this book. Every word had to read or I would have missed some of the chaos that was going on around Dimitri and/or Ava. Dimitri being the street thug who is trying to gaining power in the underworld and do good at the same time. Ava is the beautiful girl that loves Dimitri for who he is and what he represents for the people of the community. These two characters go through a lot of chaos from one scene to the next but Dimitri’s figures out all the power is nothing without Ava. I think this story deserves 4 ½ stars.
