I had high hopes for this book, but it just didn't sit well. There were some great scenes, but the book felt like one big run-on. The beginning scene was intriguing and it seems like the main character is looking back on her life from that point, but the story goes past the time frame for the scene and the book still spoke in past tense, which was confusing. Also, it was confusing whether the main character was 17 or 18 due to conflicting statements made at the beginning of the book. I think the book would be more enjoyable if it were written as a dear diary format.
