I have rarely read a book that has the power to fill me with admiration, and delight at the excellence of writing as well as an incredible sense of sensuality and love for the characters and their relationship. Even the secondary characters, friends, family and business colleagues are so beautifully drawn that they become your friends and family.

The first book in this series by Giana Darling, alluringly called,The Affair; began a relationship that you just knew was destined to develop into an amazing love story! Giselle became someone that she didn't recognise as being her true self under the spellbinding influence of Sinclair, a delicious Frenchman that she met while on vacation in Mexico. Their hot and scintillating affair rocked her world with a power that almost destroyed her as she knew he had someone waiting for him back in the US. As attraction developed swiftly into love, Giselle struggled with the guilt of betraying another woman and so she left in the early hours of the morning before Sinclair woke to discover her loss.

On her return to the States, to rejoin her family after four long years apart, Giselle is devastated to think she will never see this enigmatic man again. In a bizarre twist that I certainly did not see coming, and will not divulge here to spoil another reader's pleasure, Sinclair re-enters her life, resulting in devastating events that make her world both heaven and hell.

Ms Darling has an amazing way of drawing you into her story so that you are alternately smiling widely with love and crying devastatingly with hurt and sadness for these star crossed lovers. The brilliance of Giana Darling's writing, weaves a story that transcends romance, sex, guilt and betrayal, all of which are present in this story, and beautifully detailed. The hot sex scenes are tastefully written, with the BDSM aspects so totally soul binding for these two people, that the lifestyle is just natural and loving. There is no domination and submission to empower the Dom or degrade the submissive, but a complete need of each to give themselves entirely to the other.

I am so totally involved in this love story that I can barely wait for the conclusion. I want so much for Sinclair and Giselle to reach their ultimate pinnacle of happiness, but I also don't want this story to end but have it continue on so that I can feel this inescapable involvement in their amazing relationship. This is probably the greatest modern, sensual, love story, that you will read or have read in a long time. So beautifully told by this amazingly talented new author. I see great things in Ms Darlings future and am so grateful to have discovered her.
