Review of Defender, book 2 in the Night War Saga, by Leia Stone and S.T. Bende

Defender, the second book in the Night War Saga, by Leia Stone and S.T. Bende is awesome! These ladies are great together. This book picks up where Protector, book one, leaves off and incorporates Norse mythology, action; adventure; hottie boys; and a fun and feisty heroine.

Allie, our heroine, left college and her life to protect the nine realms from the evil Goddess of Night, Nott. She has been working hard, kicking butt and learning to weld her powers. She also fell in love in the process.

Tore is the leader of the protectors and Allie’s love interest. He is such a hottie and the perfect book boyfriend: brooding, mysterious, strong and charming. Allie’s other protectors are great, each providing something that completes the group. They all become a close-knit family who would do anything for each other and they prove that in this book.

There was no appearance from the Mack Pack, so I hope that changes in the next book.

I really liked this book and I cannot wait for the next one!

Five Stars
